The VoterID Issue Tracker was created by VoterID.me as part of the Hacks for Democracy hackathon in Philadelphia in September 2012.

VoterID.me is a mobile friendly website that uses one's location to provide Voter ID related information for the state you are in.  It was created to:

1.  Provide a simple list of Acceptable Voter IDs
2.  Provide information to remedy situations or lack of Voter ID
3.  Encourage ALL eligible people to vote.

Why Voter ID Issue Tracker?

There seemed to be no nationwide place to collect Issues related to Voter IDs and Issues at Polling places.  We hope that this system serves many efforts to consolidate Voter ID issue tracking across the US.
