http://voterID.me is a mobile site that uses your location to tell you Valid Voter IDs and what options you have when there are issues.

VoterID.me was created at the Hacks for Democracy.

the problem: 

People do not know what is the New Voter ID law where they are, and how it will affect them.



the solution:

VoterID.me is a mobile website that uses your current location or asks to choose a state to disclose:
1.  Acceptable Forms of ID
2.  Options for people without ID
3.  ID Presentation Requirement
4.  State law # and Link.



how does it work?

1.  It uses your IP address or State to show you acceptable forms of ID.
2.  Has a "NO VALID ID?" button that provides options.
3.  Shows Presentation of ID rule
4.  Has link to State Law
5.  IF the person selects "NO VALID ID"
    -  Presents options as stated by the law
    -  Call State Hotline
    -  Call Party Hotline
